David is pleased and honored to have his work included in all three books in the Fenway Fiction series. Beginning in 2005 this series, the first book of fiction devoted to one baseball team, has chronicled our region's love - and obsession - with the Boston Red Sox. David's writing includes a short story, two short Red Sox-themed plays, as well as a new scene written by David for THE CURSE IS REVERSED, the hit musical he write with composer Steven Bergman, in which the lead character watches his beloved Red Sox finally win the World Series in 2004. |
Soon after David completed work on the musical Curse of the Bambino (co-written with composer Steven Bergman) he began work on his first novel. Called "Be Careful What You Wish For..." it was, when written in the early 2000s, a fantasy about the year the Red Sox win the World Series and how it affects several long-time fans. David's novel is now available on Kindle for only $2.99 here |
