The Curse is Reversed!
A Musical Tribute to the Red Sox
(Formerly known as the Curse of the Bambino Musical)

Book and Lyrics
by David Kruh
Music and Lyrics
by Steven Bergman

This loving tribute to the Red Sox and their fans premiered in 2001 at Boston's Lyric Stage, and was later produced at Stoneham's Theater To Go in 2004 and - after a revision that includes the team's first World Series Victory in 86 years, at Waltham's Hovey Players in 2007.

During interviews for the original production at the Lyric Stage our director, Spiro Veloudos, was often asked what would happen if the Sox finally won the series (at that point an 83-year drought.) He would smile and say "well, then we'll take the credit."

The Sox have since won four. You're welcome, New England.

Steven Bergman, who composed the music and wrote lyrics for some of the tunes, has posted the original cast album (generously funded by Peter Dupre) on Spotify, Apple Music, and here on YouTube. Thanks, Steve.
